Children's Peace Garden

Hands-On Learning in the Natural World

The Peace Garden programs aim to reconnect children aged 3-11 with nature. Through activities focused on organic gardening, food sources, biodiversity, and community, children explore and learn about the environment. The curriculum fosters peace, respect, environmental stewardship, and friendship, all while aligning with Next Generation Science Standards and incorporating art, cooking, reading, and nature-based experiences.

School Day Off Classes

We’re offering a variety of school day-off classes on the farm for children ages 5-11 throughout the school year! Each class features a unique theme, where students can create healthy snacks from the garden, engage in art and games, and experience the seasonal changes on the farm.

Summer Camp

Join us for a fun-filled week of summer camp where children ages 5-11 can discover the magic of our urban farm. Together, we’ll care for the garden, explore the wonders of art and science, and create delicious snacks using the fresh harvest from our farm.

After School Garden Club

This April, September, and October, kids ages 5-11 are invited to join us every Tuesday after school to explore the fall harvest in our garden! Each week offers something new to discover, from learning about soil and meeting garden critters to harvesting fresh snacks and getting to know the goats on the farm.

Field Trips

Our Field Trips offer interactive, hands-on experiences designed to enrich elementary science curriculum. Students will participate in activities centered around local food, organic gardening practices, the significance of biodiversity and community, and reconnecting with nature through immersive gardening experiences.
