Goat Dairy

The goat dairy serves as a vital link between urban residents and the land, their food, and nature. It offers access to sustainable agriculture, hands-on farm education, and humane dairy production, helping to bridge the gap between city life and a deeper connection to the natural world.

For centuries, goats have played a crucial role in sustainable agriculture across diverse cultures.

Our goat herd contributes positively to soil health and farm ecology, reducing the need for imported compost. They graze on cover crops and weeds, helping to lower labor and fossil fuel usage while supporting our holistic land management goals.

Previously known as Mountain Flower Goat Dairy, the remarkable goat herd, along with a llama and the dedicated team, became part of the Growing Gardens community in January 2021. This collaboration aims to increase awareness, nurture the land, and strengthen community connections.

History + Legacy

We are thrilled to welcome this new addition to the Growing Gardens community. Discover more about the rich history and lasting legacy of the dairy.
